Mike Premo has over 20 years of leadership experience in both the public and private sector, having served as the Chief of Staff at the New Jersey Department of the Public Advocate and the Ohio Senate Democratic Caucus, and managing political and issue advocacy campaigns at the local, state and federal level, including running the campaigns for marriage equality in New Jersey and Ohio. He joined CD4AP in 2018, and before becoming Executive Director served as Director of Engagement. Mike helped create several new initiatives at CD4AP, including the ID for All People program, which helps Columbus residents secure their birth certificates and state ID cards and the Avenue for All festival, which celebrates Parsons Avenue as a place for community to come together. Mike has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Montclair State University, and a Master’s Degree in Social Justice from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. He has lived on the South Side since 2014, and is a member of the United Methodist Church for All People.
