Youth and Children

Open Mic and Youth Fellowship

The Youth program is led by Chris Sunami, Youth Minister.  A weekly Open Mic program on Mondays at 4:30 involves children and youth, along with adults, in preparing and presenting songs, music, poetry and even sometimes jokes, to the audience.  Participants increase their self-confidence and skills and are also taught self-respect and respect for the group.

Free guitar lessons for youth and children are offered each week at 4:00.  Free singing lessons for all ages are offered the 1st and 3rd Mondays, which are also preparation weeks for Open Mic.  The second and fourth Mondays are Open Mic, with a competiion on the fourth Monday.  Any fifth Monday is an open jam session.  Click here to see videos from the Open Mic program.
