UM Church for All People is a UM National Mission Institution in a covenant relationship with the UMW national office, proudly serving our community through our ministries of faith, hope, and love in action on the South Side of Columbus. Our programs carry forward the legacy of the South Side Settlement House, which was founded in 1899 by Methodist deaconesses for “the improvement of the quality of human life through the creation of a community of culture and concern in a society rooted in economic and social justice.”

Currently, our ministries focus on affordable housing, health and wellness, youth development, and maternal/child health. We have been a teaching presence at the West Ohio Conference Mission U for many years and we are the chosen church home of a UM deaconess, three Church and Community Workers. We offer a wide array of service opportunities and the rich capacity to provide a welcoming environment that is reflective of a diverse worshiping community doing the work of Building a Front Porch to the Kingdom of God.
