The Community Development for All People Corporation is a faith-based, non-profit community development organization dedicated to creating a community and church that welcomes and cares for all people. Located in Columbus Ohio, the CDC works to improve the economic, social and spiritual quality of life for residents of the South side.
The United Methodist Church for All People
The United Methodist Church for all People is an intentionally cross-cultural, cross-class church that welcomes and celebrates diversity. Worship is held Sunday mornings at 10:00 and piror to the Free Store opening on most days. Learn about the Church for All People.
The United Methodist Free Store
The Free Store began in 1999 and provides free clothing and household goods to anyone who needs them. It is an outward expression of God's unconditional love. Over 21,000 families are members of the Free Store and over $2 million dollars worth of goods were given away last year. Learn about the Free Store.
Affordable Housing
The CDC renovates homes on the Southside and makes them available at a reduced cost to buyers. This helps improve home-ownership and strengthens our community. Learn about Affordable Housing.
Harmony on the Southside
This program provides music and opportunities to learn and make music to the Southside community. Programs include music lessons for youth and adults, and free concerts. Learn about Harmony on the Southside.
Church and Community Improvement Society
The CCIS seeks to unite members of the Church for All People (C4AP) with residents and workers in the immediate Columbus South side community to improve the quality of life for everyone. Our vision is to create an expanding front porch of the peaceable kingdom of God where all people live together in harmony, enjoying blessings that flow from God's Divine Economy of Abundance. In addition to these projects, four meals are served each week at the ministry center, health and social service workers provide screening and referrals, support and study groups are held each week, and youth programs take place.
