Harmony Events and Programs

Harmony on the Southside is pleased to announce it is a grant receipient of the Franklin County Neighborhood Arts Program of the Greater Columbus Arts Council.  This grant will fund a concert partnership with Mayor Coleman's Neighborhood Pride organization.  The All People Band will perform at six Neighborhood Pride events through the end of 2008.

In addition, the band will be performing at the Farmer's Market Grand Opening, Parties on the Plaza and at the Spirituality Network.  See the concert schedule, below.

  • Thursday, May 22 5:30 - 6:30  Neighborhood Pride Event, Barack Recreation Center, 580 E. Woodrow
  • Friday, June 13, 2-4 pm, Farmers Market Grand Opening, South Pointe Center (High and Williams)
  • Tuesday, June 24 6:00 p.m., Spirituality Network, United Methodist Church for All People
  • Thursday, June 26 5-6:30 pm  Neighborhood Pride Event, Woodward Park Recreation Center, 5147 Karl Road
  • Sunday, June 29, Party on the Plaza, Community Development for All People Parking lot at Stanley and  Parsons

    Music Lessons

    • 4:00 - 5:00 Mondays FREE Guitar Lessons for Elementary through High School students.  September through mid-May
    • 4:00 - 6:00 First and Third Mondays   FREE Singing Lessons for all ages, including adults.   Open Mic preparation, drumming instruction and other activities.  September through mid-May
    • 1:00 pm. Saturdays  FREE Guitar Lessons for Adults and Youth

    Open Mic

    • 4:00 - 6:00 pm. The second Monday of each month is Open Mic, the fourth Monday of each month is a contest (participants can chose whether to compete or just perform) and the fifth Monday of each month is a jam session.
